
Kofi Kakra has been electrocuted after climbing a high-tension pole at Galilea near Kasoa in the Ga south Municipality of the Greater Accra.
The victim who lived locally in Kasoa was seen on video climbing to the very top of a high tension pole, leading to his death.
In the video, the gentleman is seen climbing vigorously to the top of the pole, ignoring pleas from the general public who had gathered around the pole.
Efforts by the Weija Division Police and others to convince him to descend the tension yielded no results.
When he got to the top of the pole, he was electrocuted, meeting his untimely death after coming into contact with one of the power lines which sparked flames.
Eyewitnesses at the scene were shocked and said they have no idea why he climbed the high-tension.
Kofi Kakra was 24 years of age and had been working as a trotro driver’s mate for 4 years,
